Christmas Morning! Our savior is born!

Christmas morning finally came! The girls were excited to wake up and see what came overnight. Mrs. Clause did another masterful job with the wrapping and planning out all of the details. She purchased wrapping paper that had two sides and printed up tags to avoid being detected with the whole "hand writting" issue.

I thought it was fool-proof until smarty pants Sarah figured out Santa was the only one that gave her gifts. Ooops! We fed her a story about being short and we had spent her Christmas money on her other activities. Whew! Good thing we needed to hurry up and get ready to go to Grandma's. Maybe she'd get distracted and forget...

Sarah got everything she put on Santa's list. Amazing! Most importantly, she got her first new bike. All of her others were "hand me downs" from Lizzy. The other bikes were practically new as Lizzy didn't take to bike riding too much. Probably because she didn't have anyone to go with...

BTW, if you haven't exposed your daughter to American Girls dolls. Don't! Save yourselves and run away!!

Lizzy got all that she asked for also. All of the Guitar Hero games and the Wii Fit. Thank you eBay!! Her parents probably spend more time on the Fit than she does...

Love that million dollar smile. I make fun of her but it really is a nice smile. I won't divulge how much it costed us because money isn't important. Right?
We were off to a great start on Jesus' birthday. The girls did a great job of staying focused on the reason for the season and kept their expectations down. We are focusing on bigger more important gifts (people & time) rather than things that'll quickly fade after the paper has been thrown away.
